Hunger and poverty are the constant suffering of the displaced in northern Syria, and other life burdens compound that suffering, such as the costs of childbirth and treatment.
Mrs. Rahaf arrived at one of SEMA Hospitals in severe labor. Shortly after her arrival, she gave birth to a little girl weighing only 800 grams. Our doctors made every effort to provide the necessary treatment and did all the necessary examinations for the little girl.
The child was suffering from acute respiratory distress due to incomplete lung maturity. Immediately, the necessary treatment was applied. Now, after a month of follow-up and treatment, we can tell you that the child is in good health and will soon go home with her family.
Your donations were the reason for saving hundreds of children in northern Syria, and the need continues.
