Baby Sham was born prematurely, causing her acute respiratory distress syndrome and early infection. The doctors made every effort at first, but Sham's condition was very difficult.
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our medical staff at Al-Ikhaa Hospital in northern Syria, and after Sham was placed in the intensive care unit and on a ventilator, Sham was finally able to catch her breath. She is now gradually improving, and we will be able to send her home soon.
Your generosity has helped us treat dozens of newborn babies and save their lives, like Sham. Thank you for your support.
However, the need for support is ongoing, and we must continue to stand by these newborn babies and their families.
