Due to the conflict in northern Syria, the region is suffering greatly from a significant lack of healthcare. There are a limited number of hospitals and health centers that provide medical care for newborn babies, who are considered the most vulnerable group of all.
Baby Sidra arrived at one of SEMA hospitals suffering from repeated vomiting and severe pain. She was only two days old. After tests, it was found that she had severe gastrointestinal bleeding. She was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit, where doctors took the necessary measures to save the girl.
Our doctors were able to treat the child and relieve her of her pain, and this would not have been possible without your generous donations. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts to save the lives of newborns in northern Syria.
Like Sidra, there are dozens of newborn babies arriving at SEMA hospitals, and your donation is the only one capable of saving them.
