Dear Supporter,
Thanks to your kindness and compassion, baby Sundus has won her battle for life!
Born prematurely in northern Syria at just 33 weeks, Sundus weighed only 1.5 kg, and her tiny heart was fighting to keep going. From the very moment she entered the world, she was in a life-and-death struggle. But because of your generous support, we were able to give her the life-saving care she desperately needed.
Placed immediately in an incubator, Sundus was resuscitated and connected to a CPAP machine to help her breathe. SEMA’s dedicated doctors provided around-the-clock care, giving her fluids, antibiotics, and nourishment to give her a fighting chance. Every second was crucial – and your donations made it possible!
Sundus is still under close care, gaining strength in the incubator as she waits to reach a weight that will allow her to finally go home to her mother’s loving arms. Her mother, with tearful eyes, has never left her side.
There are many more newborns like Sundus in desperate need of the same care. With your continued support, you can help us save more fragile lives and bring hope to the hearts of their anxious mothers.
With heartfelt gratitude,
