Dear Supporter,
Nazem was only three days old, and his life was slipping away in those fragile first moments. He struggled, gasping for breath as his tiny body fought for survival. But because of your compassion and generosity, Nazem is alive today.
At birth, Nazem inhaled amniotic fluid and was rushed to the intensive care unit at one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria. Attached to a ventilator, his little life teetered on the edge, with doctors fearing a life-threatening heart condition. Yet, despite the uncertainty and fear, our dedicated medical team worked day and night, doing everything possible to keep him alive. His parents watched in agony, waiting for news—until the moment came when they heard the words they’d been praying for: “Your baby is safe.”
Thanks to you, Nazem’s life was saved, and today he is on the road to recovery. His battle isn’t over yet—his treatment will continue for the a month, with every day bringing renewed hope. And your support is the reason that hope exists.
Your generosity doesn’t just provide medical care; it offers the gift of life. But there are still so many newborns, just like Nazem, fighting to survive at this very moment. You can be their lifeline.
With heartfelt thanks,
