Dear Supporter,
Baby Ahmed was born prematurely, at just 30 weeks of pregnancy, into a world full of challenges and a life that didn’t start easily. As one of twins, Ahmed came into this world racing against time to take his first breaths and fight for survival. His earliest moments were filled with struggles, requiring respiratory support with a CPAP machine and intensive care to keep him alive—all made possible by your generous donations.
Today, after 12 days of fighting inside one of SEMA’s hospitals in northern Syria, Ahmed looks at us with tiny eyes filled with hope, having overcome many obstacles. He is now breathing without the need for oxygen and tolerating the milk that nourishes his small body. Yet, his fragile frame still awaits the weight gain needed to face life outside the hospital walls.
This tiny baby, brought into this world too soon, is alive today thanks to God’s mercy and your unwavering generosity. Each day Ahmed spends fighting is a testament that your donations are not just numbers—they are breaths of life and hope gifted to a child growing slowly in caring hands.
There are still many babies like Ahmed in northern Syria waiting for your support to find their chance at life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
