Dear Valued Supporter,
Because of your compassion and generosity, fragile new lives are now receiving the care they urgently need.
We are proud to share that SEMA has successfully opened a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Ariha Hospital for Women and Children in northwest Syria. This vital unit is equipped with six incubators, four ventilators, and four CPAP devices, ensuring that premature and critically ill newborns receive specialized, life-saving care during their most delicate moments.
This NICU serves Ariha city, its surrounding countryside, and Jabal al-Zawiya, providing immediate medical support for newborns who previously had little to no access to intensive neonatal care. For many families, this means no longer enduring long, exhausting journeys or unbearable costs in search of a single available ICU bed for their child.
Your support has helped transform fear into hope — giving newborns a fighting chance at life and offering their families reassurance when they need it most.

From all of us at SEMA, and from every tiny life now breathing safely in this unit, thank you. Your kindness is not just support — it is a lifeline, a first breath, and a future made possible.
With deep gratitude,
