SEMA Monthly Bulletin - March 2026 Highlights

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

We are pleased to share with you the third edition of our 2026 monthly bulletin, as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you informed about the latest developments in our work. Your continued support makes these achievements possible and allows us to reach those most in need.

Key Updates and Achievements

This issue provides a comprehensive overview of our work during March, where a total of 16,099 beneficiaries received medical services across our various programs. Our medical teams conducted 514 major surgeries and 217 minor surgeries, in addition to supporting 384 deliveries (both natural and cesarean), alongside thousands of laboratory tests, radiology services, and outpatient consultations.

Our surgical hospitals continued to deliver specialized care across multiple disciplines, including general and orthopedic surgeries. In parallel, our reproductive health programs served 5,866 beneficiaries, providing essential maternal and healthcare services.

Primary healthcare centers and mobile clinics played a vital role in expanding access to care, delivering 2,289 medical consultations and ensuring the provision of necessary medications and diagnostic services to vulnerable communities.

Additionally, our dialysis centers provided 487 life-saving dialysis sessions for patients with kidney failure, while our nutrition and community health programs supported 3,390 individuals through awareness sessions and home visits.

The report also highlights powerful human stories, including a dialysis patient who found a lifeline through continuous care, and a premature infant whose life was saved in the neonatal intensive care unit—real examples of the impact of these interventions.

On the community level, we distributed winter clothing to 210 children affected by floods, and implemented the “Eid Joy” initiative, reaching 556 vulnerable children, bringing them moments of happiness and dignity.

Closing

Thank you for being an essential part of this impact. Your generosity continues to bring hope, healing, and dignity to thousands of lives. Together, we can continue making a meaningful difference.
