Spring is just around the corner and there is no exciting news from Hannah and Avigdor!
We are hoping the warmer weather will add to the feeling of love in the air.
Adjacent to the Tiger enclosure, is the Chinese Muntjac exhibit. These small deer are characterized by their relatively short horns and long canine teeth that they use for defense.
In the Asian forests, deer are the main prey of tigers. The disappearance of deer is one of the reasons for the disappearance of tigers and one of the hurdles for the recovery of the species.
If we manage to protect deer, we will contribute to the conservation of tigers at the same time!
Stay healthy!
