Dear Sumatran tiger supporters,
We are very excited to report that we have been allocated a new male tiger by the international committee for the Endangered Species Program. Our new male will come to us from Dublin Zoo in Ireland and he is an excellent genetic match for our female, Hannah. We hope that he will arrive within the next two months - at present, CITES permits are being finalized and the transportation crate is being built at Dublin Zoo.
Thank you for your continued support of this program which is trying to ensure the future of the Sumatran tiger species (only around 400 remain). Stay tuned for photographs of our new male in our next report!
With warm regards,
Team Tiger
