Dear Sumatran tiger supporters,
In our last report, we told you how our new male, Avigdor II and Hannah, our female, were getting along very well and had in fact mated already. Sadly, the honeymoon appears to be over, as the couple has reverted to attacking each other every time they meet…take a peek at the video below.
No need to be alarmed just yet - this is usually par for the course with big cat introductions in captivity. In fact, an introduction such as this can take over a year to accomplish successfully.
