QUINTA DE ANAUCO is one of a kind museum in a 200 year old historic house in Caracas. We are at risk of losing an unparalleled collection of Venezuelan furniture and art from the XVI to the XIX century. Your GENEROSITY will help restore the house, gardens and create a much needed education department, in a museum that does not receive any public funding. QUINTA DE ANAUCO will then be able to preserve and promote the history of Venezuela for all future generations.
The Museum of Colonial Art - Quinta de Anauco, has not benefitted from public funding for more than a decade and the economic, political and social crisis of the last 20 years in Venezuela has affected us all at every level. To rebuild Venezuela we need to encourage the love for our country and to love our country, we need to know our history. With your help we can preserve the Museum and its collection and work in newer and better ways to educate our visitors.
