Parents are a child’s first teacher and have a long-lasting influence on their lives.
Family Services Early Head Start has created programming that supports parents and families with quality prenatal and early childhood development services. The program is comprehensive and involves the family in the total development of the child.
With a focus on low-income families, Family Services Early Head Start offers programming such as: Early childhood education with a developmentally appropriate curriculum, prenatal services, health and nutrition, special needs services, parent involvement, family development and community partnerships. One of their community partnerships has led them to partner with Jake’s Network of Hope to provide these young families with diapering supplies.
“Our families express appreciation to receive diapers and report it helping them with the high costs in today's world,” said Melissa Carter of Family Services EHS. “The diapers also allow families to continue to stay connected with Early Head Start and families who meet regularly get the option to receive diapers monthly.”
We believe that no family should have to sacrifice basic hygiene needs in order to afford other basic needs - it reduces a quality life. We are proud to be partnered with Family Services EHS to help ensure every baby has the diapers he or she needs to stay clean, dry and healthy.
