#savethebabies: Help Children Rise out of Poverty

In 2023, Jake's NoH successfully achieved our goal by distributing over 1,000,000 items through our core programs to aid individuals in need.

We collaborate with non-profits, schools, and faith-based organizations across eastern Wisconsin to extend our assistance. These partners can request products from us every month at no expense, enabling them to provide essential support to the people their organizations serve.

Looking ahead to 2024, each individual benefiting from our programs will receive a monthly allocation of 50 diapers, 25 training pants, 25 period supplies, or 25 adult incontinence products, depending on their specific needs.

Our primary focus for the year is to cultivate stronger relationships with all our partners. To achieve this, our Program Manager and Outreach Manager are engaging with each partner individually at the beginning of the year. This proactive approach aims to deepen our understanding of their programs, the demographics they serve, and how we can enhance our support to amplify their impact.

Mia, a sweet and innocent 18-month-old, lives with her parents in a small shack on the outskirts of a poverty-stricken area. Her parents work tirelessly to provide for her, but the harsh reality of poverty made it incredibly challenging for them to meet even her most basic needs, including the essential requirement of clean and hygienic diapers.

Before your involvement in our "SaveTheBabies" project, Mia often had to spend her days in discomfort and distress due to the lack of proper diapers. The absence of clean diapers exposed her to a higher risk of infections and health issues, impacting her overall well-being and hampering her early childhood development.

However, thanks to your support, we were able to intervene and bring a smile to Mia's face once again. With your generous contributions, we provided her family with a supply of high-quality diapers, ensuring Mia's comfort and hygiene were no longer compromised. The positive impact was evident almost immediately as Mia's parents expressed their profound gratitude for the help they received.

Not only did Mia's health improve significantly, but her parents were also able to focus on other essential aspects of their lives, such as seeking better job opportunities and enrolling Mia in a nearby early childhood education center. Your compassion has set the foundation for Mia to have a brighter future filled with hope and possibilities.

Your support has gone beyond diapering a child; it has uplifted an entire family and community. Mia's story is just one of many such tales of hope, made possible by your continuous and generous support.
