Hello friends,

2024 was a year of BIG changes for Jake's Network of Hope. We are proud to share that we've been able to streamline and enhance our operations in order to support more children in need of diapers than ever before! We recently merged with United Way Fox Valley's diaper bank, creating one unified diaper bank in Eastern Wisconsin and allowing us to provide greater access to diapers and other basic care items to the community. This exciting collaboration has also increased the number of community partner programs we support to nearly sixty. This translates to around 15,000 children and babies diapered through our work for the year!

Moving into 2025, we know that diaper poverty remains an urgent need not just locally, but across the world. According to the National Diaper Bank Registry's 2023 diaper need investigation, nearly 1 in 2 caregivers are struggling to afford diapers - often cutting back on other expenses, such as entertainment, food, and utilities. In fact, their study found that 28% of caregivers skipped meals in order to afford diapers.

Government assistance programs like SNAP or WIC do not cover diapers, which is why this work is so critical for the dignity and health of babies and children - and why we are so appreciative of supporters like you to help us succeed in our mission to end diaper need!

We look forward to our continued growth and dedication to supporting community needs in the year ahead. We are committed to working with our partners to provide the hygeine and basic care essentials needed to make sure everyone can live in dignity and every baby has access to clean, dry diapers.

Thank you again for your support - we wouldn't be here without you!
