Winter is a difficult time for all the stray animals, especially for puppies. Due to their age, they are more vulnerable. We often experience puppies gathered near the road construction work to get a warmth of the hot liquid ‘Tar’ that is used for paving roads. Some unfortunate moments, puppies fall asleep near the freshly paved road and got stuck in the tar that later become so stiff that if you try to remove it from the skin it will take the skin off the body. Sometimes this can be fatal for the tiny puppies. Recently we received a similar case.
A kind-hearted rescuer rescued two puppies completely covered in tar. He brought them to Jivdaya for treatment. The puppies were under tremendous shock, and it was extremely difficult to remove the tar off their skin, but our team patiently completed this almost impossible task. The Vets at Jivdaya treated these two puppies with necessary medication alongside the tar removal process. Finally, the duo released back to their locality with their other siblings.
