An ear hematoma is commonly found in dogs. A blood-filled pocket inside the ear flap is extremely painful for dogs. Negligence can lead to other severe problems for the affected dog if not treated timely.
'Dabbu' came to Jivdaya with an ear hematoma which was causing him a lot of pain and discomfort. He was constantly trying to scratch his ears which was causing a wound that could lead to a severe ear infection. His ear was already in a bad shape and formed puss inside the ear pocket. He needed immediate medical attention. His local caretaker took him to Jivdaya as he knew that this is the best place for Dabbu.
Our doctor performed a small surgery to relieve Dabbu's pain. After the surgery, Dabbu has been under our supervision and medication and he is recovering fast and happily flapping his ear again.
