We train mothers who work in the street and live in the slums. These mothers can come and make handicrafts and jewelry for buyers and in turn the mothers are paid a wage. Many of these handicrafts are being sold all over the world. Every day a woman can work is a day her children don't have to go beg on the streets. We train the mothers to make various handycraft so hey can have soft skills and make money for the family. Now we have 15 women who enter our program and need your helps.
Many of the mothers force their children to beg in the street to make money for the family. They use the empathy of the people in the street by carrying their baby in the street and beg. They are not able to work because they doesn't have any skills and cant read and write. The mothers doesn't believe that education and empowerment are important to stop the cycle of poverty
In order to get children off of the streets it is vital for them to still be able to earn a wage. Our program provide the mothers to come and make handicrafts and jewelry Many of these handicrafts are being sold all over the world. While doing this the family will be able to survive, the children will get an education and poverty chain is broken
The mothers who come to our women workshop will need to bring their kids into the same place. While they work, the children will receive education and the mothers will have soft-skill which enable her to provide for the family. Our vision is to stop the cycle of poverty and beggar mentality. We believe the mothers and the family will blossoms and able to live with hope, dignity and purpose.
