This project will provide with scholarships for one year to 10 students in the North Area of Cancun in Mexico, the top of the list that has the biggest population with low incomes in the city. When you donate, you are supporting the families of these children, to achive the goal of give their kids the best education in a school that provides an integral formation, which also includes english classes, sports, cultural and spiritual activities.
The last census conducted by the SEP in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico, revealed that Cancun City has 740 schools, and according to INEGI reports, many of these schools lack some basic services that prevent the proper development of students, such as drinking water, electricity and internet access. But the most overwhelming reality is that more than 40,000 girls and boys from 3 to 14 years of age and just over 22,000 young people from 15 to 17 have no access to education in the state.
Ciudad de la Alegria Foundation support Mano Amiga School, that has the mission of transform the life of those who do not have growing opportunities, by giving them an integral formation, composed by education, human, social and spirituality development. We receive more than 900 students from preschool to high school, giving them high Quality Education based on values, at a low cost. Also 80% of our students go to University thanks to the different alliances we have.
The project of Ciudad de la Alegria Foundation with Mano Amiga school support the education of many families in the North Area of Cancun City. The school provides an integral formation, for more than 900 students from preschool to high school. We are looking for them to permanently develop their competences, as a challenge and an adventure for the rest of their lives. A lot of our students are already professionals, others are studying a degree with a scholarship at University.
