Margarita is struggling to achieve her dreams despite the Covid-19 pandemic that is affecting us globally. Her goal is to graduate this year 2021 with a degree in Bachelor of Science and Letters with Orientation in Tourism and Hospitality and find a job to help her family. She is only a few months away from achieving her goal.
Her teacher reported that Margarita benefited from the Kateri Fund’s interest in her studies. She is a very responsible person in all the tasks that are assigned her. She always hands in all her homework in every course even though the courses are virtual.
Her average is 86.5 and she has not failed any course. The biggest difficulty she encountered in her studies is the pandemic that affected the way she studied. All her classes are received virtually and it is not the same as in person classes.
Everything in her life is going well. None of her family has been infected with Covid-19. It did affect her family, however, because they are no longer able to sell in the market as before. Fortunately, she found a job in a bakery. She is given time to do her schoolwork there. Her best wish is to be able to graduate to become the first professional in her family. She wants to do something important in the Society, in her life and in her family.
