We work to provide the disadvantaged girl child Education and life skills to improve their lives and community. We also provide life skills to women (Mothers) of the children in our support to better their families.
There are more than 500 girls both those who dropout of school due to luck of school fees, school requirements, what to use when she is in her monthly periods, early pregnancy, early marriage and those who have not gone to school at all (now grown up to 6-years)- due to parents not able to raise any money for them to go to school in our community
The Gift Of A Girl Foundation provides skill training to mitigate the a alarming situation to both those girls who have grown at home without Education and those who dropout of school. This has shown some good results already.This is part of the on going process to save the situation in addition to teaching girls and mothers how to feed their children well to avoid malnutrition in their babies.
These project will have given 240 both the girls and women the tools they need to pull out of poverty and improve their lives, families and community at large. There will be a better understanding of health issues at their homes and positive way of handling any need that arise.
