It's not often that we toot our own horn, but this time we just can't help it!
As the year draws to a close, we have a chance to look back on all BPK has achieved. Especially all of the amazing work we have done throughout the summer holidays.
BPK provided just over 4000 meals to local children and families over the 6 week holidays. We cooked meals for several HAF providers and worked tirelesssly to ensure every child had access to a healthy and nutritious meal.
In addition to this we ran our BPK Summer Camp at St Anselms Church. A huge thank you to the guys there, especially Rev Donna, who has been a true friend and ally of BPK since we were evicted from our space- just months before we undertook this immense challenge by the way!
Children, young people and families were able to attend our summer camp 4 days a week and take part in a range of activities from sports to arts and cafts, to digital music making!
Plus we were able to give out Take and Make boxes and of course, provide a free and delicious lunch everyday. (For parents too!)
As the Christmas break draws in, we are excited to provide more fun and support for our local community. It's what we do, and we love to do it.
