My name is Bahati, I’m 17.
I lived in Rugari (in the countryside), with my parens and siblings. We fled because of the war, however, as my parents were farming, I only left with my younger siblings. We met Children’s voice in Kibati, where they offered us votional training. I picked mechanics because I thought I would do well in that.
I am very grateful to Children’s voice for the training and the help they gave us to start our own businesses. I am looking forward to the end lf the war and being able to go back to the village and train other young people who haven’t had the same opportunity.
