I am Kashali Bea, mother of Sifa. Sifa is a disable girl of 12 years old.
I was told that my daughter was cursed because of her disability which she was born with, she walks on her buttocks. I was convinced that it was true. I was ashamed to let her leave the house.
Today, I am overjoyed to see her standing in front of her classmates singing and showing what she has learnt. I thank Children’s Voice and its partners, as well as the local leaders who insisted that I let Sifa go to school.
This program promotes and saves many disable children in Democratic Republic of Congo.
