School reintegration is a priority in conflict and post-conflict situations. Whether in camps for displaced persons who have fled the fighting, or in the villages when returned.
"I fled the war with my mother when there was bomb attack near my home in Kalengera.
I'm so happy to be back to school at Kibati center. Now, I have just finished the national exam to end my primary school.
Next year I'll be in secondary school. I am so happy that my dream to be a doctor to heat children will be a reality one day, because, either here in Kibati or when back home I will continue my school. Thanks to Children's Voice and its partners.”
Said Kabandi, 13-year-old.
