This project provides high school and elementary school scholarships for youth and vocational training for uneducated teenagers.
Eastern Congo has suffered significantly from conflict over the past 15 years and the affects on children and familes is extrememly serious. Many families in Goma, one of the largest cities in eastern Congo, do not have enough money to feed their families, let alone pay for school fees. Children's Voice aims to help these children by giving them the opportunity to go to school and teaching teenagers marketable skills to generate income.
This project will: -Give scholarships to secondary school for children who graduate from the CV primary school. -Pay for teacher's salaries at the CV primary school. -Provide micro-grants for families who take in orphans
Through this project, Children's Voice will give scholarships to 250 children for schooling and vocational training, giving them hope for the future and equipping them with skills to succeed.
