-Progress of our project:
In post conflict country, as Democratic Republic of Congo, children and teens are in lack of skills. They have not been at school. Many of them are ex soldiers. In Birambizo city for example, in 100 kilometers from Goma, 80 % of teenagers out of school, selected by Children’s Voice for vocational training, do not know to read or to write. There are many from street and from armed militias. They are vulnerable, abused and neglected and exposed to delinquency.
- Youth education program is a vocational training program to skill youth ages from 14 to 17 years old who are out of school. They do it in eight months of training and internship.
