School Shoes Donation Project – Koralawalla & Kalutara1. Introduction

The School Shoes Donation Project was implemented to support school children from low-income families by providing them with proper school shoes. Many students face difficulties attending school regularly due to the lack of basic necessities. This project was organized to help such children continue their education with confidence and dignity.

Last year, school shoes were donated to 100 selected students in the Koralawalla and Kalutara areas.

2. Background and Need of the Project

In several communities in Koralawalla and Kalutara, a number of students come from economically disadvantaged families. Due to financial difficulties, parents are unable to provide essential school items, including proper school shoes.
