We are delighted to announce that House of Science NZ has signed a significant multi-year Government contract. Our latest Social Return on Investment (SRoI) statistics paint a powerful picture: for every $1 invested in our programme there is a $21.90 return to the economy. (Ref ImpactLab GoodMeasure report May 2026). This phenomenal impact, which is thanks to the generous support of companies, trusts, community grants and individuals like yourself, meant that the Ministry of Education saw the value-add a shared library of science kits could provide. As a result, funding was allocated, a robust procurement process followed, and we signed a supply contract with the New Zealand Government in February that will enable us to deliver our core programme into every school in the country. The last three months we delivered 1,947 science kits to schools, which equates to 158,000 experiments completed by 5-12 year old students across New Zealand. By mid 2027 we expect to reach 400,000+ students on a regular basis. Thank you for your continued interest in our programme.
