Help us make the last leap and open Wellness Camp for vulnerable children! Way Home team has done a great job. A 2-storey equipped big house was built near the sea. Every year, up to 120 children in difficult life circumstances will rest and strengthen their health for free, swim and undergo a socialization program. However, for the first specialized camp for vulnerable children in Ukraine to receive guests this summer, we need to complete the interior finishing works and improve the territory.
Misha lives in the village and he was at the sea only once when he went with mother to the market in city. Then he often dreamed of it. But mother didn't go anywhere else. She has a lot of trouble in general, because she raises two children alone and works hard. The whole family also contracted the coronavirus this year. Misha's friends are going to summer camp, but his mother doesn't have enough money for vacation, even for clothes. There are thousands of such families in difficulty in Ukraine
Way Home Foundation takes care of children in need since 1997. We hold a summer camp every year by the sea, where children from vulnerable families who can`t pay for private services have free recreation and wellness program. This year we built own permanent camp base so as not to depend on services of private resorts. We have excellent team, transport and a house near the bio-reserve on Kinburn Spit that we need to finish. It has 600 m2 with 9 bedrooms, a dining room, classroom and courtyard.
If we complete the building construction, the camp will be open to up to 120 children from families in need for free annually. We will help them cope with stress, gain life skills, improve immunity. We need to finish decoration of the rooms and improve the territory now. We need paint, flooring, furniture, lamps. Your contribution and will to help bring closer the realization of children's dreams and the opening of the Dolphin Camp, which hundreds of low-income families are waiting with hope!
