With the arrival of a new season, we begin with excitement and a commitment to preparing the 2026 sea turtle conservation project in Palo Seco, Parrita. This effort is more than just a program; it reflects the dedication of many people who, year after year, come together with one shared purpose: to care for life and protect a species that depends on our actions.
During these first weeks, we have been working on cleaning and preparing the site, a stage that may seem simple, but is deeply important. Every cleared space and every prepared area brings us one step closer to creating a safe place where life can begin.
Between sand, vegetation, and the work of many hands, the land is starting to transform. Little by little, this space will become a safe refuge for nests, a place where hatchlings will have a better chance of reaching the ocean.
None of this would be possible without the support of those who choose to get involved. Volunteers have joined with energy, dedication, and a genuine desire to contribute. Their work not only strengthens the actions in the field, but also reminds us that more and more people believe in the importance of protecting our ecosystems.
Soon, we will take the next step: the construction of the sea turtle hatchery, a key space to protect the nests and support this delicate and valuable process.
Every effort counts. Every hour invested, every action taken, and every donation received brings us closer to a shared goal: to welcome a new season with a hatchery ready to protect new life and support the preservation of the species.
This is how a new cycle begins, full of challenges, learning, and hope. A reminder that when we work together, we can create a real impact and leave a positive mark on nature.
