State Bank of India donates 2 Solar Water Heating Systems: The State Bank of India has come forward to donate 2 solar water heating systems for the eye hospital. These 2 systems of 1000 litre and 500 litre capacity would be installed soon. These systems would be inauguarated by the Managing Director of the SBI on 13th Septemebr, 2011. Thus the eye hospital will use the solar energy for availing the hot water. As Ahmedabad is has temperate climate with full sun rays available for more than 320 days, the solar system would be able to provide hot water almost during all the days. This would enable the hospital to save money on electricity being used for heating water. Thus the hopital contributes towards "Green Movement" of saving scarce resources.
