Dear Donors and Well Wishers,

Greetings from BPA!!

We are very grateful to you for your generous support of the Cause of Prevention of Blindness. We are so excited to share milestones that we have achieved during the year 2023. The following highlights key achievements.

1. We have set up a multi-specialty eye hospital in Vatrak. This hospital is functional now and provides services to poor tribal people of Rajasthan and Gujarat State. The hospital has increased the reach of this project in neighboring states.

2. We have set up 3 vision centers in remote locations to provide continuous eye care services to poor people. These vision centers provide free eye checks and treatment, and for surgery, the patients are brought to the hospital. The patients do not need to come back for regular follow up at the hospital as these services are available at Vision Center.

3. We have conducted 438 outreach camps in remote areas of Gujarat, and Rajasthan state. Through these camps, we were able to diagnose and treat more than 70000 people in rural areas.

4. We have conducted free cataract surgeries for 15,000+ people who live in rural areas. They were provided medicines, glasses, and surgeries without any charges. The transportation is also provided free.

5. We have expanded our services for Truck Drivers through Truckers Project. We conduct eye checks of truck drivers and provide them with glasses free of cost. We have screened more than 2000 truck drivers under this project.

This all we could achieve is because of your continuous support, love, and encouragement.

We wish to scale up our project activities and reach in the year 2024. We request you to continue your support of this project. Please motivate your friends and family members to join the campaign Save a Sight. Your small donation e.g. 30 US$ can save sight of one person.

With Best Wishes
