The Operation Theatre at the project "Seeing-is-believing" becomes high tech now. The organization has deecided to upgraded the operation theatre using laminar and modular technologies. With this upgradation, the operation theatre will reduce the risk of infection to almost negligible. This is one of the few charity eye hospital which is using latest technology for its operation theatre. The new theatre would be operational from 29th June, 2015.

Both the projects "Cataract Free Sabarkantha" as well as "Save Vision Ahmedabad" are progressing very well. One housing finance company has come forward to extend support for the later project. Our team of motivated donors in USA are extending excellent support for our Catract Free Sabarkantha project. Now there is demand to set up 2 additional Vision Centres, one each at 2 different locations in the district of Sabarkantha. With the expansion of concept of Vision Centres, more people having eye problems from remote areas would be able to access services of eye health.

The organization has already initiated a project of rehabiltiation of persons wtih disabilities in Banaskantha districts, comparatively backward district of Gujarat. Now the people of that distict are also demanding eye heath services including eye surgeries. The organization is exploring posssibilities of establishing vision cetres in that district and extend services of eye health.

The organization has already acquired equipment for handling cases having retina complications. The project has initiatted providing services on retina care. Similalry, the project is also handling cases having diabetic retinopathy and has established facilites for providing lazer treatment for the same.
