New Challenge - Making project sustainable

1. Cataract Free Zone: The project has taken up challenge of declaring districts of Sabarkantha and Aravali in Gujarat as Cataract Free Zones. To achieve this target, project has taken support of Samata Vikas Charitable Trust and local volunteers. Thanks to our donors, till 10th January, 2016, the following target has been achieved:

a. Outdoor Patients: 21839

b. Eye Surgeries: 1909

c. Spectacles: 7115

d. Special Surgeries: 203

e. Total Expenditure: US $ 52984

By the time, this target is achieved, about 5000 persons with be operated and 50000 persons would be checked. A very ambitious but achievable target.

The project has also taken up the challenge of providing quality eye care and eye surgery services completely free of cost to non-affording persons and at affordable cost to others. In today's world of expansive health care, the Project is providing high quality eye surgery services at US $ 30 only
