Sent 100 Girls to School in Nepal

By Kamal Pariyar | Program Manager

ADWAN's aims to promote education and empower young girls, a notable initiative has been launched to send 100 girls to school in Nepal in such a powerful fundraising platform GlobalGving. This endeavor aims to address the gender disparity prevalent in education in Nepal, where girls often face barriers to accessing schooling due to cultural, social, and economic factors. By providing these girls with the opportunity for education, the initiative not only fosters individual growth but also contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty and gender inequality in the region.

The sponsor program encompasses various facets, higher educational scholarships and mentorship, to ensure that the girls receive comprehensive support in their academic journey. Scholarships cover tuition fees, school supplies, and other essential expenses, relieving the financial burden on families and enabling 75 girls to pursue their education without constraints. Additionally, mentorship programs offer guidance and encouragement, empowering the girls to overcome challenges and strive for academic excellence, thus equipping them with the skills and confidence necessary for future success.

Through this initiative, strides are being made towards creating a more clear option to the poor girls to attend the higher education in Nepal, where all young girls have equal opportunities to realize their full potential. By investing in the education of girls, not only are individual lives transformed, but entire communities stand to benefit from the ripple effects of educated and empowered women. As these girls embark on their educational journey, they represent hope for a brighter future, where gender equality and educational access are no longer distant ideals but tangible realities.

In conclusion, our partnership with you all kindhearted people through the GlobalGiving platform has not only expanded the horizons of our scholarship program but has also exemplified the power of collective action in promoting higher education. We are deeply grateful to our donors and the GlobalGiving community for their unwavering support and dedication to our cause. With their help, we look forward to continuing our mission of transforming lives and contributing to a brighter future to needy and poor girls through higher education.
