HDS' activities

By Noom DEPDC | Administration DEPDC/GMS

Now in Thailand is the rainy season and also, we got affected by global warming, when the heavy rains cause flash floods and damage in many areas of Mae Sai District. Teachers and students came together to help to clean up flood-affected government school and former DEPDC staff’s home. The students learn more about kindness and helping those in need. And the luckiest thing is all the student and thire families are safe.

In this period the organization has a special activities. It is a special housing camp for students to learn how to live together with others, teamwork, helping each other, patience, responsibilities for 30 days and do activities together. Students are developed in various areas together such as swimming, organizing language activities, field trip, visit and trial filming with Phayao TV.,learn and practice cooking at Nachachan School, also doing various activities with international volunteer from Maryland University, USA. The last day all the students have to present the activities hold month. And parent came to join and congratulated the students. All of the students did a great job.

To all our past, present, and future donors we would like to thank you for your continued support in keeping this program running. Education is at the core of DEPDC’s mission to prevent the trafficking of vulnerable youth and thanks to your donations we are able to do just that.
