On July 6th, there was a ceremony to close the school year 2020 2021.
This school year we did not have any problem linked with COVID, even if we follow the prevention guide lines in place in Burkina Faso.
The results of the exams were rather goods. The 4th year students got a 75% success at the national exam called BEPC (the national average in Burkina was 29%). The 6th year students got a 88 % success at the national exam called BEP Agricole (LAP is the best agricultural school in Burkina).
This is very encouraging and we hope that next year we will reach the objective of 80% for the BEPC and 95% for the BEP Agricole.
In may, the 23 students of the 7th year have tried to pass their driving licence: 23 out of the 24 got it. This will be a plus for the students when they will be looking for a job.
Most of Students are back at home where they will help their parents in fields work. The 5th and 7th year students have to do a training during 2 months. This is part of the study program.
Next school year the LAP will be with all the 8 classes and we there will be 3 exams: BEPC, BEP Agricole and BAC PRO Agricole.
This also mean that in 2022, we will have our first group of students living the LAP. We will put some effort to help the students to find what we will be there next step.
We really thank all the support we have got from you and hope that you will be able to continue supporting this project.
