This year is the tenth year of the LAP. It is also the first school year where we have the 8 classes opened.
For this school year we have 303 students (158 girls and 145 boys) all fully boarded. It started on September 19th.
There were some changes also in personnel. We appointed Fidel Tianhoun as director and recruited an head master Drissa Benin. We have also added a full time sport teacher. There is now 21 permanent staff for the school.
Out of the 62 new students, 58 come from rural villages and 4 from refugees families via the UNHCR.
For those 62 students the first week was an integration week. An animator help the children to know each others and create cohesion in the group mainly via games.
It is also time to begin the harvest.
We hope that this new school year will also be successfull.
This is in large part thanks to your help. Let us know if there are information over the LAP which you would like to have.
Communicatiing this project to your network would be a great help.
Thank you.
