Despite the strange political situation in Burkina Faso, the LAP has started a new school year with 310 students on September 19th 2022. This year we have more boys than girls: 156 boys for 146 girls.
There are 55 students in the first year. They are coming from different villages. During the first 2 weeks an animator will do some games / activities with those new students in order to create unify group.
We sincerely hope to have as good results than last year at the national exams.
The LAP was opened in 2011, but it is still in development.
We have secure funding for a compost production unit and for equipment for mecanisation of the work in the fields.
The compost production will help us have better input for our field. We are planning to sell part of the production to generate income for the LAP.
The equipment for mecanisation will be used for training purpose but also to have a more efficient way to work the field than just using manpower.
We are still looking for funding to build a laboratory and for fish farming.
We have made a short film about the LAP which link is with this report. Hope you will watch it and enjoy it.
Thank you for any comments or questions and thank you for your help.
