The school year had to be postponed by one week due to heavy rains in the region. Students are coming to the LAP either behing the moto of family members, in tricycles or even at the back of truck. Look at the short video attached to this report.
There are 320 students at the LAP this year (46% girls). The government wants to promote the local production of fabric called Fasodanfani. Uniforms for the students have to be made from this fabric. See the pictures of the students in their new uniforms.
We have 24 employees at the LAP, this includes teachers and support staff.
The main objective of the LAP is that the students coming out of the school find a job. We are also including a short report on where are our alumnis.
The income generating activities are developping nicely for the fish farming and the chicken activity. Those activities are marketed under the name "Ferme de Léna". We will report on it in a few weeks.
Thank you for your support,
Hervé
