End of the second trimester:

  • Results of the students: The results of the first two years were acceptable, for the 3rd and 4th year they were below expectations. We have introduced end of february study groups program which we think will help students. For this we have realised new blackboards.

Pourcentage of students with a acceptable grade at the end of the second trimester:

1st year   2nd year   3rd year    4th year

95%           80%         74%         26%

  • Activities last day before vacation

The general supervisor had organised for the first time at the LAP some sport events on the last day of school before vacation. Those activities started a 7:30 AM (to avoid the heat): soccer game for boys, 60 meters dash, relay race and wrestling for boys and girls.

  • New examination for technical subjects (CAL):

Students are tested in 4th year for general subjects via a national exam called the BEPC, but there are so far no official test for technical subjects. We will introduce this school year an examination called the CAL (Certificat Agricole du LAP) which will validate the technical studies made by the students.
