According to Ugandan statistics, 2.7 million Ugandans are orphans, less than half of pupils in Uganda that enroll for P.1 do not reach P.7 and by the end of P.4, only 6% of Ugandan children can read a paragraph. all these are attributed to Uganda's high population growth rate of 3.5%, thus low access to quality education. ICF limited looks forward to reaching out to 100 ugandan vulnerable children with the aim of tranforming them through education & leadership skills, hence changing their lives
Failure of children to attain quality education due to lack of school fees, necessary scholastic materials, consequences of Gender Based Violence and poor moral uprights.
The project will enable vulnerable children to attain quality education through providing school fees, scholastic materials and empower them with day to day life skills. This project will also equip children with different profitable life skills to enable them cope up with daily challenges they meet in their daily life. The project will also empower vulnerable children to know their gender-based rights so as to stop the discrimination they go through in their communities.
