CW is a full comprehensive academic project making opportunities possible for oppressed & denied rural girls. We need you to help us do this.
CW provides FREE quality interactive primary education for ages 4 to 12, plus many of the basic life needs that our families are unable to give their children. We include a nutritious daily meal to combat malnutrition in half of our girls, annual medical evaluation to follow and monitor girls and treat ignored health problems. We teach Spanish and English language classes, and a marketable skill (Bakery class) for after CW - so girls can pay public school fees and stay in school. We provide semi-annual dental care for all CW girls, safe school transportation, all uniforms, books and supplies, creative arts of all types. We provide a voting experience so girls know how to use their voice to create change in their society and can teach their parents, required parent classes and counseling, alumnae mentoring and so much more. We are not only an educational institution, but we are also social workers.
I fundraise in many ways to provide all of the above for free to our 126 students and 59 alumnae girls. The new book tells our story and 100% of proceeds go to the school.
