We did it again friends,
Last December just before Christmas, we graduated another 6th grade class to public high school. Here the student representatives for each grade, and the 6th grade graduating class of 2016, pass on their responsibility to the incoming student reps for each grade for 2017. This is a serious responsibility, a serious nomination - election process for the school to choose the best student of each grade to assume this position of honor to alert any issues to their teacher and that each student takes seriously.
The incoming newly elected face their grade level peers of the CW student body - from kindergarten up to 6th grade - prepared to assume this new role for 2017.
Chicuchas Wasi is able to educate and empower 112 girls each year and our girls are changing their families and communities by their example, even teaching parents how to use their voice and vote. YOU are their cheerleaders in the background making it all happen. THANK YOU!

In rural areas every grade level receives a diploma at the end of each school year to prove that they were promoted to the next grade level. They are very proud to receive their Diploma from Ruth.
Educating Girls could not be more urgent than it is today. Thank you for donating during 2016 and during the year-end fundraiser to kick-off our annual campaign to fund the 2017 operating budget.

Three of our new grads are confident, and showing leadership abilities for the gender equality they will need to bring into their indigenous society of the future. All 10 grads are well prepared to move up to public high school in March. Prior graduates that form the CW Alumnae Sisterhood came to our 2016 graduation to welcome them into the Sisterhood
Congratulations girls.
Education of Girls is serious business at CW, but so is their growth and development. We have improved their health with good nutrition (thanks to our great cooks) and vitamins and iron. This is because of YOU our CW family.
