New nursery school:
We are very happy to say that we have found the needed funds to build a new nursery school in the village of Sidi 2 in Burkina Faso. The plan is to open the school end of September 2019. We expect 50 new children of 5 years old attending this school.
Capacity building for the mothers associations:
Nursery schools are managed by a mothers association from the village. The boards of those associations is changing regularly and we need to retrain those board so that they understand their duties and responsabilities. We are planning to do this training in April 2019.
Follow up on the quality of the teaching in those schools:
To make sure that we have a good quality in the teaching in the schools, a specalist from the ministry of education visits the schools twice per quarter. This specialist is also giving a lecture to the personnel at the beginning of each school year.
