For this school year we are following 6 nursery schools.
The personnel of each school is composed of a school director helped by 2 or 3 support staff. The school itself is managed by a mothers association.
The personnel needs update training for teaching ans the mothers association needs also update training on the processes to manage the school.
We did this training in September 2019 before the start of the school year. The technical training was provided by a person of the ministry of education. This person is visiting each school every 6 weeks to help / control the technical aspects of the school.
The training on the management processes of the school was done by our local director.
In order to motivate the personnel and the women associations, small prices where given to the best in varous categories: director, support staff, mothers association...
We expect that this will also create some motivation between the 6 schools.
One major objective of this meeting which took place during 3 days in Bobo Dioulasso is also the exchange between the different groups. They learned of each other.
We plan to redo this training at the beginning of each school year if we have the funds for it.
All the children attending the nursery schools thank you for your support.
