The school year 2023 2024 was marked by the opening of a new nusrery school in the village of Sipigui, but unfortunatly the temporary closing of the one in Fina and complete closing of the one in Nefrelaye because of teerorists.
We hope that all the 7 schools will be opened early October for the new school year.
For this school year there were a total of 340 kids in the schools (178 girls and 162 boys).
We are trying to measure the impact of the nursery school regarding several aspects:
- health: are the kids attending nursery school healthier than other kids due to better hygiene and one extra meal at school.
- education: the fact to have learn some French, counting and writing does it make a lsating difference in primary school
- behaviour: are the children easier to work with if they have gone through the nursery school.
We think we know the answers, but we will make a small survey to have the exact answers.
