Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are grateful for your support of "Maisto Bankas," Lithuania's food bank. While we are still working towards our goal to acquire the so-needed van, we are excited to share some more achievements from the past few months.
We at "Maisto Bankas" are constantly stepping up our efforts. Over the last three months, we have been putting lots of time and energy into saving more food and helping those in need, and we are proud to announce the addition of one more free food shop. These shops allow individuals in need to choose food items that are essential for them and their families, reinforcing our mission to secure surplus food for those facing food insecurity.
We are dedicated to constantly growing and doing more every day, so we have further expanded our partnerships with farmers, stores, manufacturing companies, and cafes. In 2023 we have set a record by rescuing and distributing an astounding 6,678 tons of food, the highest quantity we have ever achieved in a single year, and we are looking forward to breaking this record this year.
Your support has been an important part of making these goals achievable, and we are eager to continue this journey together, making a lasting difference in the lives of many individuals across Lithuania.
