This project will help to expand our registered daycare center from daycare program to primary school program, and will help 94 children from marginalized families of Muriet ward, in Arusha Tanzania to able to join primary school after completing the daycare program. When the project will complete, it will help children to acquire quality education which would be difficult for them to acquire from profit based schools.
Most of children in this community come from low income families which are unable to take children at profit based daycare centers or schools. These results into children fail to access to better care and basic education. Sometimes parents are unable to engage in economic activities because they have no secure area to leave their children. Our center is capable with the ability to serve preschool children, after our service become helpful to many people in this community, we want to expand more.
Community Development Base (CDB) provides daycare services and basic education to poor children under its Daycare center. We influences the knowledge in different subjects include Mathematics, English, Swahili, Science, and Arts, we believe that these are the basics learning that are relevant and applicable to their daily life. When we will expand to primary school, these children will be able to acquire quality education for future betterment.
More than 94 children will benefit from our services, and they will have secure area to enjoy and acquire quality education. Parents especially women will be able to engage in economic activities as a result of improvement of their living standard and community at large. We will be able to delivery our services at high standard because of improvement of working facilities. Student will be able to acquire education at high standard hence, the minimization of illiterate rate among the community.
