Piggery Business Project for Children in Uganda

Last year we realized that December is a big month for us, pork was on high demand as most people consumd it during the holiday season, the people in this area enjoy a roasted or grilled pork in the evenings, by the start of the year, almost none in our area had pigs, "this gave us a lesson, this year we will ensure we have more than enough to meet the demand"-James,The Executive Director

This project is constructing a bigger sty(pig pen) next year that will house over 10 pigs, this expansion is valuable as the income is also likely to increase, the community is likely to benefit alot as they will be able to learn pig farming and book keeping within the farm
